Leysen is a Belgian company, family-scale, active in the jewellery and high-jewellery business. We are currently looking for a person to provide a support for both sales and after-sales service and to take part in the communication process of the brand.

Leysen is managed as much as possible on a flat basis. It means that:

  • Collaborators have a job description but not necessarily a job title
  • Each collaborator is free to participate to a project or to bring some inputs 
  • There is few control but a lot of information sharing
  • Information is used to help improve quality of service and work
  • Employees are sharing success and fails and they can challenge themselves ;-)

General skills required

  • Well-presented
  • Must be trustworthy
  • French, Dutch and English fluent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


Sales Job duties

Sales advisors are passionate by jewelry and luxury goods, they are confident in driving sales; they show a 'can do' professional attitude and friendly nature.

We ask our advisors to be patient and comfortable dealing with complaints, to show professionalism and outgoing personality, to have multi-tasking abilities and to have a well-presented appearance. The ability to work with others as part of a team is vital and weekend working is required.

Sales job duties

  • Approach customers and offer them advice on products to persuade them to buy
  • Arrange merchandise on shelves according to popularity and other criteria
  • Update customer information in databases
  • Monitor product and supply inventory (as jewelry boxes, bags, …)
  • Maintain a clean and orderly environment in the store

Customer service

  • Provide information and other services such as handling returns of merchandise
  • Deal with complaints in a patient and helpful manner
  • Take and record orders through a computer system in person or over the phone/e-mail
  • Handle returns of merchandise


Communication job duties


  • Deep understanding of social media
  • Proficient in MS Office and design software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign) and content management systems is required
  • Organizational skills
  • Fast learner
  • Proven experience in Marketing, Communications or a related field is a plus

Job duties

  • Help in the communication supports creation (website updates, high quality pictures, new lookbook, stationary, windows decoration,…)
  • Create content for social media activities
  • Draft and edit communication contents
  • Monitor PR agency activities
  • Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
  • Handling Client database


Part time – 3,5 days a week (including two Saturdays every month)

At least 3 years of proven or equivalent experience
